Dave's terrific BW landscape site.
A great place for reviews of digital photography equipment.
Above all, Ken's site is fun! Great pictures, thought-provoking articles, and sound advice.
Tuan's Large Format Photography
This is the largest and best website on large format photography, photography with cameras using film 4x5 inches or larger, that I know of. There's a ton of good information on the site. I use Tuan's recommendations for focusing view cameras and determining depth of field.
Fine art black and white landscape photography by Craig Wells from the heart of California and the Sierra Nevada mounts, rivers and forests.
Ralph is one of the authors of the excellent book Way Beyond Monochrome.
Kerry Thalmann's Photography and Kerry's Large Format Homepage
Kerry is not only an outstanding photographer but an accomplished writer as well. He's very generous with his knowledge and experience on various photographic newsgroups.
A great photographic community.
This is a great place! A number of years ago, I called Arca Swiss at their US headquarters in Chicago. I said that I was comming to Chicago, and I'd like to see some of their cameras. They told me that there weren't any cameras to see in Chicago, but I could see some if I went to Kaukauna, WI. ! BGS is a small, family run business. They carry large format photo gear because Jeff loves large format photography. He often imports rare products directly, e.g. Ebony, Fujinon, Badger Brand..., and their prices are only matched by their excellent customer service. Highly recommended!
For stuff that BGS doesn't carry, I normally go here. They're my favorite of the large chains. They have a good selection and fast shipping.
MPEX still has a pretty good selection of used camera gear, and their prices and service are very good. Final prices on auction sites are often close to, or even higher than, what one would pay at MPEX, which I don't understand.
We adopted Murphy De Smidt, aka Lionhill's Young Gun, from Genevieve Simmons, a terrific leonberger breeder.
Lots of good Leo links.
